D.A.V. Model School was started in 1981 by our partron Shri Gulabchand Bansal “Vanprasthi”

With the aim of providing quality education blended with our rich cultural and religious values, so that the students are not oblivious of their roots. Our teaching staff gives personal attention to fulfill the individual needs of our students. In order to explore and nurture each student’s talent, to expose him/her to stage activities and to groom them to be confident. Our teachers encourage the students to participate in various Competitions of sports, Arts & Culture.

At present “Arya Shiksha Samiti”, The Education Committee of our school, is very fortunate to run MH. Dayanand Saraswati Higher Secondary School for Girls at Mathpara, MH. Dayanand Saraswati Higher Secondary School for Boys at Gaya Nagar in Durg and MH. Dayanand Saraswati Higher Secondary School at Kohka, Bhilai.

Recently the Arya Shiksha Samiti Has also set its foot in the field of College Education by opening D.A.V. Model B. Ed. College at Dhamdha Road, Durg.
